Mokhtar Asaadi, M.D.

Dr. Asaadi graduated from Shiraz Medical School, in Shiraz,Iran in 1973. He did his general surgical training and Plastic Surgery training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center Livingston, New Jersey. Part of his General Surgical training was at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital, New York. He did his Microsurgical Fellowship in Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Illinois and he did his Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Manhattan Eye, Ear ,and Throat Hospital in NewYork with Dr.s Thomas Rees , Sherrell Aston, and Daniel Baker.He is Board Certified by American Board Of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery.

He has been in private practice since 1982 in Livingston, New Jersey and New York City. His practice is concentrated on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery of the Face and Body. He has been Chairmain of the Dept of Plastic Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey from 1999-2001 and again from 2011- present.

Plastic Surgery at Saint Barnabas is one of the oldest Plastic Surgical Depts in the country with 73 members and was started by Dr. Lyndon Peer who was the pioneer in Tissue Transplantation and Fat Grafting.

Dr. Asaadi was Co-Founder of the Persian Cultural Center( Noor Va Danesh) in the Eastern United States.

He also started The Persian-American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Asaadi’s special interest is in Surgical and Non Surgical Treatment Of The Eyelids and Periorbital Area and Face and Ultra Sonic Liposuction for Body Contouring .
